Let’s Make Divjaka Natural Again
Albanian Ornithological Society (AOS) in partnership with the PSEDA-Iliria and ResPublica are jointly implementing the “Let’s Make Divjaka Natural Again” project, financed by Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF).
The project “Let’s Make Divjaka Natural Again!” aims at preserving and protecting biodiversity as a whole in Divjaka-Karavasta National Park by ensuring sustainability in decision-making through the involvement of local communities in conservation actions and by stimulating alternative local livelihood projects in order to reduce pressure on natural resources.
Pezes Regional Natural Park – a park with a lot to Tirana
Initiative to declare Pezes as Regional Natural Park (IV Category IUCN) – part of the national network of protected areas has been undertaken by the Illyrian organization, as part of the ACHIEVE project (civil society in a European environment), funded by the European Union Evropiandhe Powered by REC Regional Environmental Center, Albania.
The project titled “Protection of nature through sustainable management of the Regional Natural Park (PNR) – focusing on the announcement of the Regional Natural Park of Peza”.
The project is being implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Tirana (the Parks and Recreation Agency), the local community and Peze Administrative Unit.
On 31 March 2017, in the premises of the administrative unit Peze organized a workshop on the park, advantages and benefits that the community will have within this park etc.

The event will continue with various training related to fleet management, assess the flora and fauna, community meetings etc.
